studiokalex is a design and engineering practice. Websites, 3D and motion, built end to end.

We work in the browser rather than in static mockups. Type, motion and load order turn out to be one decision, and it is easier to judge running than described.

What studiokalex does for search and AI visibility

studiokalex makes websites easy for search engines and AI assistants to find, read and cite: technical SEO, structured data, pages built around the questions buyers ask, and the indexing work that gets those pages into Google, Bing and Brave.

Every website we build already gets technical SEO, Google Search Console and Google Analytics from launch. This service goes further, for sites that need to win more searches and be named in more AI answers.

How AI assistants choose what to cite

Each assistant searches an index before it answers, so ranking there decides whether you're named. Gemini and Google's AI Overviews are grounded in Google Search, ChatGPT's search draws mainly on Bing, Claude's web search is built on Brave, and Perplexity runs its own crawler.

Google is explicit that there is no shortcut: “There are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, nor other special optimizations necessary” (Google Search Central). Bing's webmaster guidelines add that “single-topic pages are more likely to be selected for grounding results” (Search Engine Journal, February 2026).

How a page is written matters too. In Princeton's GEO study (KDD 2024), adding statistics raised a source's visibility in AI answers by about a third and adding quotations by more, while keyword stuffing lowered it. And what other sites say counts: in Ahrefs' study of 75,000 brands, mentions across the web had the strongest link to appearing in AI Overviews.

What the work covers

Our own site is the first case study

We use the same methods on kalex.studio. In October 2026 our 3D website page ranked first on Bing for “3d website design delhi”, and ChatGPT recommends us for that search.

The site is server-rendered, carries structured data on every page, publishes an llms.txt summary, admits every major search and AI crawler, and pings IndexNow every day with the pages that changed.

Start a project
  1. First

    Audit

Crawl, index coverage, rankings, and how each AI assistant answers your key prompts today.

  2. Then

    Fix

Technical issues, structured data, crawler access and the copy AI reads first.

  3. Then

    Build

New and rebuilt pages for the searches and prompts you're missing.

  4. Every month

    Measure

Rankings, citations and AI referrals, with what to change next.

SEO & AI search: common questions

GEO is the work of making a site eligible to be cited in AI answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Copilot. It builds on SEO: the assistants search an index first, so a page still has to be indexed and rank, and then be written so a passage can be quoted on its own.

Not for Google, which says pages need no special markup or optimisation for AI Overviews or AI Mode beyond being indexed and eligible for a snippet. Structured data and an llms.txt file help other systems read a site quickly, so we add both, but the pages themselves do most of the work.

Because they search different indexes. ChatGPT's search draws mainly on Bing, while Gemini is grounded in Google Search, so a page can rank in one and not the other. Claude's web search is built on Brave. We check all of them.

Technical fixes and new pages are usually picked up by Bing within days to weeks, sooner with IndexNow. Google typically takes longer, and competitive searches also depend on mentions and links from other sites, which build over months.

Yes. Every website we build includes technical SEO, with Google Search Console and Google Analytics set up on your domain and the sitemap submitted. This service is for ongoing work beyond launch.

No, and nobody honestly can. Search engines and AI assistants decide what to show, and Bing's own guidelines say optimisation doesn't guarantee citations. We make the site eligible, fix what holds it back and measure the result.
