The Short Answer

In India in 2026, 3D product animation costs about ₹25,000 to ₹60,000 for a simple turntable, ₹80,000 to ₹4,00,000 for a 15 to 30 second hero animation, and ₹2,50,000 to ₹6,00,000 or more for a full launch film. The biggest cost drivers are the model, the materials and how much of the product has to move. Once the model exists, extra cuts and renders cost much less.

These are market ranges for 2026, not quotes. Prices assume the studio builds the model; if you supply clean CAD files, expect less.

What Drives the Price

  • The model. Building an accurate model is a fixed cost, which is why a 10-second clip is not a sixth of the price of a 60-second one.
  • Materials. Glass, liquids, fabric, brushed metal and gemstones take far longer to make convincing than matte plastic.
  • Moving parts. A product that opens, folds or comes apart needs rigging and careful animation.
  • Environments. A clean studio background is cheap; a kitchen, street or forest is a separate build.
  • Sound and edit. Music licensing, sound design and voiceover are usually priced separately.
  • Formats. 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 cuts for web, reels and ads add rendering and edit time, but far less than a new animation.

Freelancer or Studio

A strong freelancer is good value for turntables and simple hero shots. A studio is worth it when you need a storyboard, art direction, several deliverables and someone accountable for the whole project. The common failure with cheap animation is not the motion but the materials: products that look plastic and fake, as we explain in why 3D renders look fake.

Get More From One Model

The model you pay for in an animation can also make your still product images, a 3D viewer on your website and AR. Ask for the model files and usage rights in the contract. Our 3D rendering cost guide covers the stills, and the motion graphics cost guide covers 2D animation.
